🚨 **Exciting Project Update** 🚨
I've been working closely with **Joseph Diekemper** and **Brian Hayslip** on something BIG for the CRUSA Street Stock community. Together, we’ve been pushing the limits of creativity, engineering, and innovation to develop a **new, premier street stock chassis** that we believe will revolutionize the sport.
🔧 This project has been months in the making, with thousands of dollars and countless hours invested. We’re still testing and fine-tuning, but our goal is simple: **create a consistently high-performing chassis** that can be mass-produced. With infinite adjustment options, it will streamline costs and reduce the need for frequent shop visits and costly updates.
💡 We’ve been inspired by successful karting manufacturers like **Premier Racing Chassis**, who have produced the same kart model for over a decade and used customer feedback to dominate the industry. Our aim is to bring that same level of innovation and collaboration to the street stock world.
But let’s be real—the big car community is a different animal. Racers often keep things close to the vest, and there’s not much knowledge sharing. We’re here to break down those walls. 🧱
🔩 **Sharp Manufacturing LLC** has done work for other brands in this industry, often behind the scenes. But now it’s time to make things clear: **I respect every builder in this space and will never reproduce your designs.** My approach is simple: study everyone, learn, generate new ideas, and add my twist. It’s all about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. 🚀
Now, I won’t pretend to know everything about this class—I’m learning every day. It will take **the expertise of individuals more knowledgeable than me** to make this thing great. That said, I’ll be upfront: **we won’t be the cheapest chassis on the market**, and we may even be one of the most expensive. **Research, testing, evolution, and innovation cost money**, and we intend to share that cost.
To be clear, there are **no buddy deals, no backdoors**, and this isn’t a bargain bin product. **You have to pay to play.** We encourage honest feedback and constructive criticism, but if you’re here to bash the idea, you can take your thoughts elsewhere.
As a racer, I know how tough it is to get beat by the house car, being promised you’re getting the same thing, only to find out you’re in left field. That’s not how we intend to operate. **I’d rather beat you with talent**, not by selling you an inferior car.
We’re committed to growing this platform, fostering sportsmanship, and building a fleet of chassis that supports the entire racing community. We are currently sending additional chassis to powdercoat, and plan to get the entire body in CAD in the coming weeks.
