We blinked, and May turned to June!

As you can see from our photos, May was mostly spent outdoors on the swings and playing “Bozo Buckets”. We went “Apple picking” for our letter review, and we ended the preschool year with some awesome show and tell! Some of our friends left us to move on to other adventures, and we celebrated them with ice cream sandwiches.

This week, we learned about how to garden and compost. In April, we planted seeds in peat pots, and today we prepared our garden for those seedlings. Soon, we will be harvesting tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and pumpkins. Enjoying our gardening time with our little gardeners. 🪏👩‍🌾

They say April showers bring May flowers, but I think we had some of the CUTEST flowers all April long.

Our kiddos celebrated Easter by doing our annual Easter egg hunt, colored eggs, and painted sun catchers. We also had some really cute bunnies show up 😉

We learned so many cool things in Preschool, and we also planted seeds for our garden! Speaking of garden, we have some GREAT wormie catchers here as well! Some of our kiddos are picking our dandelion flowers for their friends, too. Great Friendships really shine, just like the sun. ☀️

Goodbye Winter and March!

Our littles celebrated “Read Across America Week” with some good Dr. Seuss spirit days, and we shared lots of toy time both indoors and outdoors. We decorated flowers, and did a leprechaun hunt for St Patty’s Day. We did some coloring, and learned about team work both indoors and outdoors. March brought us spring, but we brought the fun! On to April!

February filled us with LOVE!

In addition to our annual Valentine’s Day celebration, we had some crazy fun days with “Keepy Uppy”, puzzle days, preschool and car track days. We also had some outside time too, which is always awesome for FEBRUARY!

Our kiddos also learned all about Children’s Dental Health from Munster Distinctive Dentistry, and we got to brush Mr. Monkey’s teeth so he doesn’t have any more sugar bugs!

We are so lucky to have all of our kids and families here at Building Blocks Child Care! Each and every memory we make here is a blessing! ❤️

Woah January, where did you go?!!? Everyone always says that time flies when you’re having fun, so I guess we were having loads of it!!!

Lots of paint, play-doh, and puzzles. We had coloring time and chalk time too!

Great friendships were made. Lots of love, laughs, and hugs.

Better late than never 😉

December. The end of 2025. A month of crafts, fun, games, and celebrating Christmas.

We made some super cute crafts during December, learned a lot in preschool, and we got to meet SANTA!!! Santa was absolutely wonderful for our annual Christmas party. We also made Christmas cookies, played Christmas bingo, and Christmas Bozo Buckets.

Being at Building Blocks Child Care is so much fun! Our kids have smiles, and laughs, and our parents do too!!!

No more November!

We had LOTS of fun in November. We had our annual Halloween party outside this year, and danced and ate our little hearts out! We even went trick or treating in the play yard!

We learned all about colors in Preschool, and how to make our Secondary Colors. We even learned about the first Thanksgiving, and picked out hats to make! Our little Pilgrims and Indians are so smart!

We ended the month with some uninstructed paint time, and it was very cool to see everyone’s artistic side.

There is a lot to be thankful for here at Building Blocks Child Care. ❤️
