In my first full year as a Private Investigator; I've helped many insurance companies, businesses, and private citizens with numerous investigations. Recently, I was called in to assist a client after a major incident with a possible liability potential of over 2 million dollars. By getting called in early; I was able to obtain evidence and statements, (similar to my experience as a Detective on the East County Major Crimes Team when we were called out to investigate homicides); that should substantially limit their exposure. This has also been the case with workers compensation cases where the alleged injury seemed suspicious. By getting statements from witnesses and complainants early; I have been able to identify completely different witness statements and outright false statements by complainants. What most successful investigations had in common was I was called in early to gather the information, lock people into statements, and give the client a clear picture of the possible liability exposure they were facing.
