š£ļøOne thing Iām learning in this NEW SEASON is how ALONE a man can truly feel in this world ā especially after his parents transition.
š£ļøAs a man, so much feels like it falls on YOU.
Your happiness.
Your safety.
Your pleasure.
Your pain.
Your healing.
š£ļøAt the same time, youāre expected to be the PROVIDER, PROTECTOR, problem solver, and safe place for everybody else.
š£ļøPeople will tell you, āLean on meā⦠but sometimes you look around and realize nobody is actually leaning INTO YOU.
Nobody checking if the strong person is tired.
Nobody asking if the provider needs to be provided FOR.
š£ļøAnd somehow you still gotta get your ass UP.
Handle business.
Take care of your responsibilities.
Smile in peopleās faces while fighting battles they know NOTHING about.
š£ļøPeople might look at your life and see SUCCESS ā money, businesses, accomplishments, relationships, opportunities.
But Iām learning that REAL success is also becoming FREE.
š£ļøFree from CODEPENDENCY.
Free from needing validation.
Free from relationships that only work when YOU are providing the value.
Free from people and situations that donāt genuinely have your best interest at heart.
š£ļøAnd that type of freedom can get LONELY.
Because the more you heal, the more boundaries you create.
The more boundaries you create, the fewer people qualify for ACCESS.
š£ļøI donāt have some inspirational answer for every man fighting that battle. Iām figuring this s**t out too.
š£ļøBut to every man carrying something HEAVY and still getting up every morning handling his responsibilitiesā¦
I SEE YOU. šÆ
š£ļøYou might FEEL alone in your battle ā but youāre not the ONLY man fighting one.
