The holidays bring plenty of joy; and let’s be honest, a fair amount of consumption-induced stress. I’ve definitely felt conflicted at times putting together gift guides, but our team has put together top picks for women who ski and women who surf (especially the cold-water crazies), both heavily featuring women-owned brands.

My hope is that this guide inspires thoughtful gifting, mindful consumption, and maybe even a little treat-yourself energy.

Supporting fellow lady entrepreneurs feels especially important right now, and in perfect timing, today is Women-Led Wednesday, an annual holiday created by the founder of to encourage everyone to shop women-led brands.

Calling all filmmakers, check out this opp to win funding for your next surf film! 🎬 The Women of the Sea Filmmaker Fund is accepting submissions. This initiative ( supported by and the ) invites all women filmmakers to submit projects that shed light on women who are reshaping surf culture or creating new spaces in the lineup. “I started cycling in 2021 and opened a bike shop in 2023. It’s a quick progression, but I truly fell in love with the sport. I broke into this industry through advocacy work and community organizing.”
