2011 Casey Neistat called… electric longboards are BACK! just launched their new boards for pre-order and they are epic- trust us. We tried them out and everything with basically zero injuries (except for all the whiplash people on the streets got from watching us whip around, cruise style).

We were lucky enough to work on the branding for their awesome company and even awesomer board.

It's a lot of work making things look effortless, especially for anyone who hunkers down pushing nodes on a custom logotype.

The final wordmark for our custom brand identity for .market (last slide) is one of our favorite projects to come out of 2022. Stay tuned for more new work for them coming soon 🍃

When creating a brand identity for the urban planning firm, Desire Path, we made sure our creative was rooted in the idea of pathways, overlapping communities, and engagement. The concept of a desire path is a route, often by people and communities, more desirable than paved pathways.

The custom wordmark (as well as the logomark and other graphic elements), not only gives subtle cues to the work they do, but also their name. Much like a desire path found in urban landscapes, their team is guided by their community and neighborhoods they engage with.

Annnnd that’s a wrap for us over here at Rugged! Rounded out 2022 with a killer crew yesterday and got to break in our new(ish) studio a little more. Despite having no warning, all talent involved got a significant workout modeling for one of our healthcare clients. Including who will do anything for the shot.

We’ll be closed through the new year to give our squad a much deserved break so we can kick off 2023 with more creative juice!

Hot off the press! 's new campus calls for some fresh interior graphics.

Unity provides flexible and accessible environmental education to students across the globe, so their classrooms and hallways should be a place for students from all walks of life to come together, collaborate, and learn about one thing we all have in common — our planet. We created a system of art direction that brings a sense of energy and passion to the halls, inspired by the college’s curriculum that unifies science and social responsibility.

It’s me, Matt Damon. This is our first annual post to let everyone know we’re closed until Monday so we can enter a Turkey Trance. This is where we get our ideas.

Our patio plants may be dying, but the vibe is alive.

Sam & Evan unintentionally wore the same outfit so we had to do a 3 hour photoshoot. These are our selects. Not taking votes on who wore it better because they both wore it equally well just in different ways.
