How much 💰 you got!

💰 Everytime a girl wins, there is always an added expense, and Dad's are typically fully on board! National Pageants mean that your game has to go up another level and if it's National American Miss or Miss Teen USA you'll need to be ready for competition. Pageant gowns, pageant interview attire and hotel reservations cost money just for starts.

🛑 But before you dig into the piggy bank for that PAGEANT PREP IS CRITICAL! Pageant Interview, Pageant walking, Pageant speech writing its all a thing and there is no sense in putting on all of that Pageant attire and looking like a Roll Royce but without an engine.

💯 No system will tell you that you need a coach, but 75% of the National Top 10 has one and 90 - 100% of the girls in the National Top 5 has one.

🟢 It's your money and your competition. Be smart and prepare for more than a hotel stay and a fancy wardrobe.

It's easy to get caught in the hype of looking for help. Photos, reels, records, and popularity contests.

But one thing stands out amongst them all.

Why tho? Let it Go!

The pageant has been over for weeks, possibly months, and this is what a lot of folks do afterward.

Why bother? I can say honestly that there has never been a pageant that I, as a parent, ever did this after my child competed.

The Pageant is over! Whatever swayed the judges ect, ect, ect is done and won't change.

The best thing to do is move on and focus on what's next.

Possibly, you may have some great points, and they MIGHT be legitimate. There might be some favoritism, shady stuff going on behind the scenes, and there MIGHT not.

It might be you...

But the best thing to do is not spend your money there if you feel that way... But move on. NEXT.

I have always been curious why people wait for something that they say that they want so bad.

It's my dream job!

I want to inspire people!

I want to be the best titleholder ever and grow the system.

Let's keep it real... You don't, really.

Because procrastination is not what the system wants in a titleholder.

It was worth it!

The skills that you learn in pageantry are priceless and skimping on pageant coaching is reckless.

As much money as you are spending on registration fees, gowns, hair and make up, food, travel and so many other pieces of attire could mount up to thousands of dollars, just for a local pageant.

When you go to a national competition THE GAME IS ON! You have to go big, or literally go home.

But you would never put your Sherri Hill on your yard dog, so why would you spend thousands of dollars as skimp on coaching. DON'T DO IT!

You need 6 months to a year of consistent coaching to prepare for a pageant, even if it's a local. Don't blow your chances and your money looking to look great in your clothes, but look bad in preparation.

You wouldn't go to a sports tournament without a coach and training, so why avoid one for your pageant.

Its your money. Spend it wisely.

What if you gave 100%?

There's a difference between:

1. Doing a little (25%)
2. Trying (50%)
3. Trying hard (75%)
4. Giving it your all. (100%)

🧊1. Is what girls do who aren't really interested. (if this is your, I suggest finding a cheaper hobby)

🌡2. Is what girls do who are interested is something else just as much as pageantry and therefore are half in and half out. (Notice the thermometer is half full)

💥3. Is what pageant girls do when they want to finish in the top 20, 10 or even 5. (This is about 50% of pageant girls)

🔥4. Is what makes winners win and at minimum makes pageant girls grow. This urgency separates the pageant queens from the pageant girls. The winning mentality is an ALL IN MINDSET and little else matters but accomplishing their pageant goal(s).

Which one are you?

What's holding you back from winning a state pageant title or even a national title?
Motivation? Support? Lack of knowledge? Money?

Pageantry is fun, fashionable and exciting. But it could be alot more fun and gratifying if you pushed yourself harder than you did before.

Fact: Waiting to start pageant preparation won't cut it. Your pageant is between 3 and 4 months away and if you did a pageant last year, you're most likely rusty. If you never have done a pageant you're running behind.

It's NAM Season🎊

👑National American Miss has been a part of my life for over a decade, and being NAMily and NAM National family alumni is an honor that I will cherish forever.

❤️If you have never competed in a NAM Pageant, you're missing something special, and if you have, you know why it's called NAMily.

🟢Mandatories are: Formal Wear, introduction, interview, and community service involvement.

🟢They have more optionals than I can remember, including runway, spokesmodel, talent, and so much more.

❤️One of the big takeaways from National American Miss is the sisterhood and the incredible directors like Matt, Brianne, Kathleen and Steve Mayes, Lakesha, and so many more, not to mention their staff.
