Yesterday, Kennedy Restoration proudly joined Making Strides of Oregon & SW Washington in support of the American Cancer Society. 💗

Thank you to the employees, families, friends, clients, and community partners who walked with us, donated, or helped spread the word.

We were proud to take these steps together in honor of survivors, in memory of those we’ve lost, and in support of those currently facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

This October, Kennedy Restoration is proud to launch Restoring Hope, our Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign. 💗

Throughout the month, we’ll be raising awareness, supporting those affected by breast cancer, and inviting our employees, clients, families, and community partners to get involved.

One way our clients can participate is through our Client Pink Out Challenge. For every client office that wears pink and sends us a team photo, Kennedy Restoration will donate $100, up to 15 offices and a total donation of $1,500 to Breast Friends of Oregon.

🚧 REMINDER: The I-5 closure starts THIS FRIDAY! 🚧

If you travel through Portland for work, appointments, job sites or client meetings, now is the time to start planning ahead.

Beginning Friday, September 11 at approximately 10 PM, southbound I-5 through the Rose Quarter will close 24/7 for up to five weeks while ODOT completes critical repairs. Northbound I-5 will remain open.

⚠️ Significant delays and unpredictable travel times are expected throughout the Portland metro area — not just directly around the closure.

A few ways to prepare:
• Allow extra travel time
• Check your route before heading out
• Consider I-405 or I-205 when appropriate
• Adjust travel times when possible
• Keep the closure in mind when scheduling vendors, contractors and service calls

🚧 Portland businesses, plan ahead for major traffic impacts this fall. 🚧

Beginning September 11, all southbound lanes of I-5 between I-405 and I-84 near the Moda Center will be closed for up to five weeks as part of the I-5 Rose Quarter Improvement Project. One lane will remain open to the Broadway exit to maintain local access.

ODOT has created resources to help businesses prepare, including maps, communication materials, travel resources, and planning tools. Learn more about the project and access business resources at I-5 Rose Quarter Project. The Business Toolkit is also available through the project website.
