Regarding on-site service and COVID-19
A roaming field technician presents some unique challenges in this environment, as they are constantly exposed to many different individuals and locations as part of their job. Thus, we are taking steps to limit our staff’s exposure. Given the current situation in the city regarding the spread of the novel coronavirus we are suspending all non-emergency onsite service calls for the time being. We will still be available for remote service during the coming weeks and we will also be available for onsite service for emergency situations only. All medium and low priority service calls can still be put on the schedule, but they will be queued until conditions improve. Currently, we’re taking this week-by-week, but we anticipate getting back to regular service on or around April 1st.
This may seem a bit drastic, but we’re doing this for a couple reasons:
1. To protect our technicians from exposure to COVID-19 themselves.
2. To protect you, our customer, from secondary exposure should one of our techs become exposed.
We are currently working our hardest to help users operate from home as much as they can. Should you need help with this, let us know.
