If you’ve ever wanted a Christmas photo with your ugly Christmas sweater and puppies all around, or your family sitting on a couch covered in puppies, your dreams are about to come true!

All eleven pups are claimed for their new homes, but you’re welcome to come get your puppy snuggles.

15 minute sessions. $50 each.

(For those concerned for the children... all puppy nails will be trimmed. Puppy teeth, however, are sharp. For those concerned for the pups. All will be vaccinated. Handling, running around, and snuggles are good for their socialization!)

There's something special about a whole family setting aside a week to play together, rest together, be together at the beach! Four separate family units converged on the west coast to connect and share life last week. "There's nothing greater than this, than family," said the patriarch, proudly watching his grandchildren wrestle in the sand.

Saturday I had all the feels. This bride is one of my sister's besties. I remember exactly where we were when she first mentioned to me news about this guy she met. In her cool, never-presumptuous-never-dramatic way she shrugged and said, "We'll see"... but her smile gave it away. This guy was worth noting. Sure enough.

Yesterday two families merged to celebrate Sarah and Alex. It truly felt like one large family as people spoke of the competitive drive both of these two bring to the marriage and how they do for one another what few have been able to - push them to be better more than they push themselves. From a 45 minute online date with zero expectations, to a marriage where they will be better together than they could have been alone, yesterday celebrated and marked a relationship that brings life both to this couple as well as the work and lives around them. Congratulations to you and your united family!

Yesterday was a celebration full of laughter and joyful tears from getting ready to toasts and dances! This couple met in college and steadily, patiently, truly walked toward their wedding with faith and humor. Congratulations to day one of many to come as Mr. and Mrs. Webster!

Earlier this week, we welcomed Maxwell James into the world! He came with very little fuss, the week his mama predicted, and a perfect addition to this wonderful family! There's something especially sacred about a labor and birth, and hearing a father whisper his child's name over him for the first time. I just about lost it, moments after this wee child entered the world, when his daddy adoringly said, "Hi Max."

This wedding was certainly not short on the "Finally" and "The wait is over" comments. But everyone agreed the waiting was well worth these two finding one another. Saturday was a day full of family, laughter and tears of joy for this couple as they covenanted their love in a beautiful morning ceremony complete with a unity cement mixing. Congratulations to two people who are clearly ready to honor one another from this day forward.

I showed up and noticed right away Natalie brought her 'A-game'... she had a dress picked specifically because I told her there would be yellow flowers. She knew her favorite angels to be photographed. She brought the hydrangea cut her boyfriend surprised her with earlier in the week. She was ready! The pup, on the other hand, needed a little coaxing. Such a fun evening with this intelligent and determined woman!

"Grandma started this tradition thirty years ago, all of us coming to this exact spot for a week together. This is our first year without her." Although I was photographing this immediate family, the extended family was there playing Balderdash, watching Mariners baseball, eating chocolate cake and simply enjoying a week at the beach together. What a wonderful way to honor family and stay connected!

When one of your dearest friends and her family welcome the little girl she's always dreamed of calling her own, you bring your camera. One kid is full of energy and made-up stories and words galore and just turned four, the other so chill and patient and has those cool baby skin folds - she's not yet two weeks old. I adore them both, and attempted to capture some of our moments together today.
