Starting this season, when you pay in cash in the tasting room, we will take what we saved in credit card processing fees and pass it directly on to our employees as a bonus.
We heard about this program from Coastal Enterprises Inc. that Back Cove Books was doing and thought it was brilliant. We asked them if it was ok if we adopted it too. They gave it two thumbs up.
đź’ł Every time a credit card is swiped at your favorite small business, 2.5% is tacked on and goes to big banks for their processing fee.
🦞 We would prefer that money stay here in our own community. So from now on, if you decide to pay cash in the tasting room, know 2.5% is being added on and going directly to your winetender, rhubarb presser, bottler, labeler, and rhubarb schleper.
🤍 We won’t shame you for paying with a card. We know how convenient and necessary swiping and tapping is! You do you… we like you.
