The Global Homestead Community Garage (Shop People) WAS a membership based co-working lounge, makerspace, storage facility, library of things location and business incubator that housed a wood, metal & jewelry shops as well as creative and event spaces. The Garage Vision is to integrate natural systems and innovation within design to create more Sustainable lifestyles. As a Benefit Corporation, w

e strive to serve the greater good and invite you to be a part of our community. We have a growing Library of Things and bulk buying initiative for to empower members within a resource light lifestyle. This includes tools of all sorts for all sorts of projects, outdoor gear, shop bikes, a canoe, a utility trailer, etc...We encourage communities and organizations aligned with our vision to use our facility as an event space, meet up or team building destination. In addition, our members are expert fabricators, problem solvers and craftsmen. If you'd like private or group lessons, we can accommodate most requests. Finally, we do offer small business consulting including financial modeling and analysis, strategic marketing, brand development, design collaboration, product shipping and direct business development initiatives.
