Delivery Day for Favorite Daughter!

After several weeks of commissioning and delivery preparation, the team was excited to officially deliver Favorite Daughter, Sabre Yachts 51 Salon Express, to her owners, Brian and Carolyn.

We’ve had the pleasure of documenting this beautiful yacht’s journey, from her departure from the Sabre Yachts factory in Raymond, Maine, to her arrival at our Portland service facility. Along the way, we followed Yacht Systems Project Manager, Ryan Dierks, through the custom electronics installation, Lead Detailing Specialist, Hayden Dearing, through the ceramic coating process, and the many other members of our team whose expertise and attention to detail helped prepare her for delivery.

For Brian and Carolyn, Favorite Daughter represents an exciting next step, moving up from their Sabre 45 Salon Express to their new Sabre 51. As returning Sabre owners, we’re grateful they’ve chosen DiMillo’s again to help bring their next chapter on the water to life. We look forward to seeing all the memories they’ll make aboard Favorite Daughter!

Ceramic coating adds a durable, hydrophobic layer that helps repel water, salt residue, and grime while enhancing gloss and making routine cleaning easier. It’s the perfect finishing touch to help preserve that fresh-from-the-yard look for seasons to come. 🧼✨

From the electronics install to the final detail, we’re counting down to delivery day!

Featured Listing: 2021 Sabre Yachts 48 Salon Express, Miss Maggie

Miss Maggie is a highly customized example of the Sabre 48 Salon Express, built from the hull up with DiMillo’s Yacht Sales and Sabre Yachts for experienced, two-time Sabre owners.

Her layout was designed around couples cruising, with a larger-feeling main salon, added storage for extended stays aboard, and a unique custom galley layout. She was painted directly from the factory in Kingston Grey and the teak toe rail was removed from the build to provide a sleeker look with much less maintenance.

Powered by twin Volvo D8 IPS 700s, 550mhp each, with joystick control, SeaKeeper 9, and only 229 engine hours - Miss Maggie blends classic Sabre styling with modern performance and easy handling.
