Last night, our team had the honor of being recognized alongside so many incredible family and private businesses in Cincinnati at the 27th Annual Family & Private Business Awards hosted by the Goering Center for Family & Private Business.

One of the best parts of the evening was simply hearing everyone's stories. The generations who built these businesses, the people carrying them forward, the impact they have on their communities and their visions for what comes next.

For Taylor, it was also a reminder of just how lucky we are to call Cincinnati home. This has been our headquarters for 175 years, and there is something incredibly special about being part of a community where family and private businesses continue to grow, evolve and pass something meaningful on to the next generation.

We're also grateful for the work the Goering Center does to support businesses like ours. From roundtables and peer connections to succession planning and resources for the next generation, they understand both the opportunities and the responsibility that come with building a business meant to last.

Last night gave us the chance to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new people, hear some incredible stories and celebrate the businesses that make Cincinnati such a special place to call home.

It means even more paired with this feature in the Cincinnati Business Courier, celebrating 175 years of Taylor Logistics and seven generations of the Taylor family building something that lasts.
