Final Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival week photo count after sorting, culling and final edits was 914! Thanks to the Portland Chamber of Commerce for allowing us to preserve the memories of this event once again! Thanks also to the City of Portland Tennessee for all their hard work and support in making the festival a success once again! Portland TN Police Department and the Sumner County Sheriff's Department as well as Portland Fire Department, Sumner County EMS and Sumner EMA for keeping everyone safe! And to all the volunteers, vendors, and participants who make the festival what it is!

And another sold out Portland TN Parks & Recreation Department Daddy Daughter Dance in in the books! It is such a privilege to photograph this event and see how much the daughters have grown from year to year! The parks department really outdid themselves this year on the decorations, food spread and entertainment! Here are a very few of our favorite photos.

It is just around the corner! This usually sells out!

DADDY DAUGHTER DANCE:
The annual Daddy Daughter Dance will be held on Saturday, February 8 at Richland Gym from 5pm-7pm. It will be a night of entertainment including dance, games and music.

Girls of all ages may be accompanied by their dad, grandfather, uncle, or the special father figure in her life.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on the city website, or by calling the parks department office at 615-325-6464. Registration will run through February 7th 2025 as long as tickets are available.

After hitting Sam's club, re-rebooking the Starliner launch trip, getting an emergency haircut (Thanks Gregg Dillard!!) I am back to working on photos from the Middle Tennessee Strawberry Festival. Up to concert night!!!

So as we were wrapping up from doing photos at the Daddy Daughter Dance tonight I saw a little girl and her dad heading towards the door, heading home for the night. As they were walking the little girl opened up the holder that we place their portrait photos in, look at the photo, close it back, and give it a big hug as she smiled up at her dad. We are so blessed to live in a town that hosts such wonderful events! Thanks to the City of Portland, Tennessee Government, the Portland TN Parks & Recreation, Mayor Mike Callis, and all the amazing parks employees for such a wonderful evening!
