We are incredibly honored to have hosted the crew from Paulie's Push last night, welcoming him to town, hosting them at the station overnight, and providing him with a send off this morning. Paulie is a retired flight attendant pushing an airline beverage cart from Boston to NYC, where he will end at Ground Zero on 9/11, marking the 25th anniversary of that tragic day.
Paul and crew, we hope we provided you with proper hospitality, and thank you for choosing us for your stay! It was an honor to host you, and we hope some day you will find yourself in town again! You and your team will always have a place here! Have a safe remainder of the push, and thank you for keeping the memory of all those lost alive!
Thank you to our friends at Westfield Fire Dept for assisting us with flying the flag this morning, East Hampton, CT Volunteer Fire Dept for assisting with the flag yesterday, and Cromwell Fire Department "Official" for making the trip over this morning to help send him on his way!

Portland fires dive team will be conducting a joint training operation with City of Middletown Professional Firefighters Local 1073 and South Fire District Firefighters IAFF Local 3918 dive teams tonight. No need to be alarmed

With all this snow, we invite you to participate in a scavenger hunt! Buried in the snow are fire hydrants! We challenge you to find them, dig out 3 feet around them, snap a picture, and post them in the comments! The person that digs the most earns bragging rights!

On a serious note, Portland Fire is an all volunteer department, with our members working full time and trying to spend time with families. We will be out trying to clear the hydrants as we can, but any help is greatly appreciated. Help us keep your neighborhoods safe!

Good afternoon everyone! We hope everyone had a great holiday! Due to scheduling conflicts, we must move our January pancake breakfast back a week, so instead of Sunday Jan 4th, it will now be held Sunday January 11th. We hope to see everyone there and sorry for any inconvenience!

We hope to see everyone this Sunday! We just got off the phone with the North Pole and Santa 🎅🏼 should be landing his sleigh around 9:30!

We are gearing up for December, and want it to be one to remember! Please join us Dec 7th for our monthly pancake breakfast! We will be holding a toy and food drive to benefit the Portland Food Bank and Youth Services, bring an unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item and receive 50% off your meal! There are also Rumors floating around that Santa 🎅🏼may be stopping by from about 9:30-11!
