Each event spotlights a different platform, toolchain, or challenge—pushing Portland’s builders to master the full landscape of modern AI development. Participants will build agents, tool-use pipelines, multi-model workflows, and more - using Claude in meaningful ways.

Who should attend?

Getting Set Up with Claude Code. (How to get accepted into the Claude Portland Hackathons)

Curious about building with Claude? Join us this Saturday for a hands-on workshop with Todd Greco, Director of AI Outcomes at Slalom, who brings nearly three decades of experience working at the intersection of AI, design, and technology.

Todd will walk participants through setting up the Claude Code environment and using Claude directly in the terminal to support real development workflows. This beginner-friendly session will help you get started quickly with the tools developers are using to build AI-assisted software today.

Applications Open: Oregon Innovation Showcase- Get in Front of Investors!

Application Deadline: March 31st at midnight

The Oregon Innovation Showcase is inviting early‑stage startups with real products, early traction, and near‑term fundraising plans to apply for a high‑visibility exhibition and, for select companies, a chance to present on stage to investors and industry leaders.

The event highlights ventures with strong customer validation, compelling founder–market fit, and technology or business models positioned for regional or national impact. Companies with MVPs, prototypes, pilots, or early revenue - and a clear path toward a seed or Series A raise - are especially encouraged to apply. Applications are open until March 31, and all accepted startups receive an exhibit table, with a limited number advancing to the curated Venture Showcase presentation track.
