⭐ When 5 Stars Just Aren’t Enough! ⭐

We love receiving feedback like this from our customers!

Bill recently shared his experience with Brokentop Garage Doors through a personal message:

💬 “Brad was awesome. He is 6+ stars. This was my first experience with Brokentop. It was excellent.” — Bill Steen

Bill doesn’t typically leave online reviews, but he was kind enough to give us permission to share his experience!

🚪 Garage Door Won’t Close? It Might Be a Simple Fix! 🔧

If your garage door starts to close but suddenly reverses and goes back up, your safety eyes (photo eye sensors) might be the problem!

These small sensors near the bottom of your garage door tracks are designed to prevent the door from closing when something is in the way.

Before calling for a garage door repair, try these quick tips:
✅ **Check for obstructions:** Leaves, dirt, cobwebs, or even a small object can block the sensors.
✅ **Clean the lenses:** Gently wipe both safety eyes with a soft cloth.
✅ **Check alignment:** Both sensors should be pointing directly at each other. If one gets bumped, it may need a slight adjustment.
✅ **Look at the lights:** On many models, a blinking sensor light indicates an alignment or connection issue.

💡 *Central Oregon Tip: Wind, dust, and falling leaves can interfere with garage door safety sensors, especially this time of year!
If your garage door still won't close, don't force it or bypass the safety sensors. Give *Brokentop Garage Doors a call! We're happy to help get your garage door working safely again.

✨ Talk about a transformation! ✨

This is exactly why we love a good before & after. The old garage door blended right into the house, but this new wood-look door completely changes the curb appeal. The warm wood tones and modern windows look amazing against the dark exterior. 😍

A new garage door doesn’t just replace an old door, it can completely change the look of your home.

🍂 Happy Fall, Central Oregon! 🍂

As the temperatures start to drop and the leaves start piling up, it’s a great time to give your garage door a little attention before winter arrives.

Clear leaves and debris from around the tracks, check your weather seal for gaps or damage, and listen for any new squeaks, grinding, or unusual noises. A little preventative maintenance now can help avoid an unexpected garage door problem on a cold winter morning. 🥶

And if something doesn’t look or sound quite right, give Brokentop Garage Doors a call. We’re always happy to take a look!
