Here's the idea I want to challenge for 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆. Necessity and courage aren't opposites...

... the "real" entrepreneurs aren't always the ones who chose this from a place of comfort and vision.

𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆.

Vision matters, but so does the willingness to build something from where you actually are instead of waiting for the perfect circumstances.

If you started your business because life decided for you, you're exactly the kind of entrepreneur this day is about. And so am I.

🚨 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲!

I submitted my SXSW 2027 PanelPicker proposal a few months ago, and community voting is now open through August 23. Every vote helps shape next year's conference program.

My session is called 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺-𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 and it's for the Creator Economy.

I'm talking about facing the new reality. Creators have been building for platforms. Every algorithm change, new format, and emerging channel has meant more work and more fragmentation. AI has changed that.

As the founder of Blueberri, it would be irresponsible not to acknowledge this important holiday.

Blueberries have somehow become the unofficial mascot of everything I do, content systems, frameworks, podcasts, newsletters, and now apparently baked goods.
