All generations are welcome to join our business, cultural, and learning events. The Encorepreneur Café is a community center in the Lloyd District that encourages cross-cultural, inter-generational engagement through business, cultural, and social programs. We fulfill our mission by providing programs related to business and culture as well as supporting others to put on their own workshops and c
lasses. There are many ways to get involved with Encorepreneur--our clients have rented our space or collaborated with us to create events and classes that enhance their business, artistic practice, or passion project. Our space began as a way to provide services to seniors that want to stay active by starting their own business. Those who begin "ecore-preneur" businesses often have goals of making a difference, leaving a legacy, and supplementing retirement income. As a Japanese-founded business, we have a unique interest in discovering new ways to encourage elder populations to stay actively and productively engaged with the world around them. The Encorepreneur Cafe provides a unique opportunity for such active adults, as well as community members of all ages. We offer a meeting, office, classroom, and event space away from home with access to top-quality workshop, office, and web-streaming equipment, including high-speed internet, projector and screen, web cam, USB microphone, lighting equipment, printer/copier, kitchen, lounge, conference room, and a carefully curated environment for teaching, working, and collaborating. The Cafe is also a great way to network with fellow active adults of all ages. Staff and associates are available to discuss business matters, event ideas, or workshop proposals, act as a sounding board, and refer them to outside professionals when necessary. There is parking directly out front and many other places for street parking in the neighborhood. We are 1/2 mile from the 11th Ave/Lloyd Center Max stop. We are within 1 block from bus stops for lines 8, 17, and 77. Our main entrance has one step down with handrails. We also have a wheelchair and walking-aid accessible entrance (also on 15th, to the South of our space) with no steps that we are happy to open for you.
