We picked up these little darlings in person this week, about an hour North of Portland. Their former owner kept them for 55 years, and it is time for them to find a new home. They are Madame Alexander Little Women dolls, and it seems that Amy has lost her head. Apparently one day, the head was on, the next day the head was off! No idea how it happened. The cat was lurking suspiciously close though.

This is Boom. Boom is perpetually dumbfounded. We love Boom.

This roll came to us with a note that said “Thank you for helping by my family relocate this doll. She might be sweet and just misunderstood. Her “vibes” are not necessarily bad, just strong, or maybe too strong for us and perfect for her new person/people.”

This is Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was sent to her former owner by a grandparent who suffered from mental illness. She was sent unannounced, and was the only present ever sent by the grandparent. After consulting with her mother, the former owner decided to give Kaitlyn a palo santo and sage cleanse, and then send her for rehoming.

She sits in a little swing, she is really quite pretty.

Brian and I have both had crazy dreams and nightmares since this toy showed up. We can’t guarantee it is related to Kaitlyn, but experienced applicants only please.

This is one of the scariest pieces we have ever received! A couple had lived in their home for several years when they started a basement remodel. When they began looking at wiring and ducts near the basement ceiling beams, they were horrified to find this head staring at them! Had he been there the whole time? We hope so, because the alternative is that he arrived after them which is indisputably worse. He is made of clay, and although the front of his face appears to have fleshy bits like his nose, the back of his head seems to be pure skull right down to the skull bone sutures. Horrifying. What would you do? Keep or Nope?
