Inspired by my love of trains and the tracks they ride on these cuffs have a texture that evokes a feeling of a journey to come. And that journey for me will lie in the patina. Time to see what these can become with some liver of sulphur. See you in a couple days with the results.

I’ve got a pile of cuffs I’ve made over the last year. I’m going to repatinate a couple sets this next week or two. Stay tuned for some proper liver of sulphur patinas along with a couple japanese based patinas. Time to up my game.

His name is Howard. He is a bladesmithing copperman. Here he is forging a blade in my shop. 15 #, 20” tall and made entirely of scrap plumbing, his eyebrows and eyes are over a hundred years old, so he has seen a lot. A wise man is he full of desire for life. I’m adding his heart to his chest now. It’s the one thing I forgot to make that he asked for. ❤️ Silly me, love is the key to it all.
