Life, in many ways, requires three philosophical “friends”: Sigmund Freud, Alfred Adler, and Carl Jung. They are three of the most influential figures in modern psychology. But more than that, they represent three awakenings in a person’s journey of growth.
I used to believe that life was all about preparing for the future:studying, working, constantly pushing forward.
I thought that as long as I worked hard enough, I could solve almost everything. But when I stepped into the world of online business, I found myself feeling lost instead. There were so many directions, so many choices, yet inside, I felt more uncertain than ever. That was when I started looking inward for answers.
Freud helped me understand that what holds me back is often not the present, but the past. Adler awakened me to the idea that it’s not my experiences that define my life, but the meaning I choose to give them. Jung showed me that the goal of life is not to become more impressive, but to become more whole. Looking back, I realize that life is often a journey of three stages:
first, understanding yourself, then, accepting yourself, and finally, becoming yourself. If you’re feeling lost in your career, your life, or your direction right now, maybe what you need is not just more effort, but these three “friends” to guide you on a journey inward.
