A major moment at the Amadeus Advertising Summit in Nice: we officially unveiled the Amadeus Travel Advertising Platform, built together with Accenture.

AI-powered and demand-led, the platform helps travel brands identify where demand is forming before it converts, connecting travel demand intelligence with smarter campaign planning, activation and optimization across channels.

A few moments that stood out during the Summit:

Vvivi Hu (Chief Strategy Officer, Amadeus) & Mark Bennett (VP, K&I Partnerships EMEA) from Google on how agentic AI is reshaping travel distribution and discovery and why collaboration between platforms is what comes next.

Lalit Gupta ( Sr Industry Manager, Travel at Google on how hotels and destinations should be where discovery starts and decisions are made, Arialdo Piatti (Head of Product Strategy, Advertising Solutions, Amadeus) on our GDS, Metasearch and GEO strategy and Joe Spirito (Head of GTM & Commercial, Amadeus Advertising) closed the summit with a powerful take on how travel brands can shape intent, not just react to it.

Still reflecting on Day 1 of the Amadeus Advertising Summit in Nice and one thing is already clear: travel advertising is entering a new era.

A huge thank you to our incredible speakers Anna Sawbridge, Lalit Gupta, Marc-Antoine Simon, Pamela Borja, Francisco Pérez-Lozao, Peter Waters, Dan Ciocoiu, Joe Spirito, Suraj Joshi, Chris Vavrek, and Sachie Tennakoon for sharing great insights.

Three ideas that kept coming back:
• AI is redefining how travelers discover and choose, search is no longer just a search bar.
• The winners will capture intent earlier and act on it faster, speed and relevance are the new currency.
• Travel discovery is becoming conversational, immersive and dynamic, from chat to video to everything in between.

The throughline? The winning formula for the future of travel will be the right mix of data, advertising, personalization and AI to meet traveler demand in smarter and more relevant ways.

That insight was part of the debate at the HospitalityInside Think Tank (HITT) 2026 in Brussels, where industry leaders gathered for an off‑the‑record discussion on performance, sustainability and intelligent innovation.

During the session “Innovation & AI: The partnerships of the tech giants – From transformation to operational impact”, Mithlesh Kumar, Head of GDS & Consortia Business, Hospitality Distribution at Amadeus, joined Alexander Lennart Schmidt, alongside peers from the European Commission Mihaela Lafont and the hospitality tech ecosystem Tigran Manvelyan to explore how AI is moving from promise to ex*****on.

The discussion reinforced a clear message from Amadeus:
