Tides across much of the Hampton Roads area have peaked and though still high, should slowly subside in the next few hours. Here are three graphs with the highest tide reached. Sewells Point had expected 6.5’, got 6.15’. Lynnhaven Inlet got close to its expected 6.2’ tide with a maximumof 6.17’ (round it up and you’re there). Yorktown expected 5.8’ and got 5.4’.
