The room was packed for our meetup this morning!

Students from Shawnee State University's Bear Trax program joined us to hear from Derrick Mosley, whose entrepreneurial journey reflects the unique perspective of a person who left Portsmouth when he was young but then moved back with his family to help make our community a better place.

Derrick's story shows how anyone - including YOU - can create new opportunities for yourself by solving problems for other people. That is exactly what entrepreneurship is all about.

Join us next Monday at 8:00 AM to learn more!

Shout out to Meridith Brankamp of Innovative Consulting, who shared her heart for the future of Scioto County at this week's session.

Meredith's presentation quickly turned into a roundrobin discussion about the moral imperative we have to shape our community's future through the ethical and responsible use of A.I. - minimizing its potential harms while maximizing its capacity to fuel our region's economic growth.

This meetup was sponsored by our partners at the WBC of Central Appalachia at SSU. We meet every Monday from 8-9 AM at 613 Chillicothe Street in Portsmouth. Join us next week to connect and learn more!
