Here’s what we’ve never told you:
Four years ago, when we walked into the Main Line Love Awards for the first time, we felt like imposters.
We were a brand new business. We were gaining traction, helping dozens of families, and people were incredibly supportive. It wasn’t that we weren’t welcomed. It wasn’t that we didn’t have people believing in us.
It was us.
We looked around at all of these established businesses and thought, “Do we really belong here?”
Fast forward four years later, and we’ve learned something: you don’t need decades behind you to deserve a seat at the table.
You just need to keep showing up, keep serving people well, and keep believing in what you’re building even before you fully believe you belong.
Last night, standing there again as a winner for Bucks County, Philadelphia County, and Main Line Parent hit differently.
Because this time, we didn’t feel like imposters. We stood there while the room clapped for US.
On the ride home we realized we had grown into the room we once felt too small for ❤️
