🏢 Maytag Laundry Center – Charlotte Street Sign Replacement

🌪️ Storm Damage Assessment

Maytag Laundry, located on Charlotte Street, contacted us regarding damage to their illuminated lightbox sign. Due to a severe storm a few weeks ago, the existing sign face was blown out and torn into several pieces.

🔍 Inspection Findings

Upon inspection, we determined that the original sign panel was seamed in the center. This seam likely created a weak point that allowed wind to get behind the panel during the storm, causing it to bow outward and eventually be forced out of the lightbox structure.

🛠️ Replacement Solution

Edge Signs fabricated and installed a replacement sign face using a single-piece, solid 22-foot polycarbonate sign panel with full-color translucent graphics.
