Today we had the privilege and honor of standing alongside so many others to pay our final respects to a man who dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community.

One of our rotators was humbled to be part of Trooper Pahira’s final ride, a procession that reflected the tremendous respect, gratitude, and love so many people had for him. It was a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by those who wear the badge and the lasting impact they leave on everyone they meet.

Although today marked a heartbreaking goodbye, it was also a beautiful celebration of a life lived with courage, integrity, and selfless service. Seeing the overwhelming support from fellow law enforcement, first responders, family, friends, and members of the community was a powerful reflection of the impact he had on so many lives and the legacy he leaves behind.

There are some people who leave a lasting impression everywhere they go, and he was undoubtedly one of them. We'll never forget watching you speed-shift your Mustang as you pulled out of the garage, the roar of the engine announcing your departure before you disappeared down the road. We'll miss seeing you out on the road on scenes, stopping by the garage to share stories and a few laughs, and knowing you had been there by the familiar smell of your cigar. It's the little things such as the roar of your Mustang, the conversations we shared, and of course, that unforgettable grin of yours that become the memories we hold onto the most. Your friendship, kindness, dedication, and unwavering commitment to serving your community touched so many lives, and your presence at Mark Hammers Towing will never be forgotten. We will miss you more than words can express.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, and all of his brothers and sisters in blue as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Thank you for your service, your dedication, and the difference you made in so many lives.

It was truly an honor for our team to be a small part of your final journey home.

Rest easy, Pahira. Your watch may have ended, but your legacy will live on forever. 💙🖤

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the tragic passing of Trooper Mike Pahira.

Mike was much more than a valued customer—he was a true friend to everyone here at the garage. He was always welcome through our doors, whether he was stopping by to talk with the guys, get work done on one of his many cars, or enjoy one of his favorite ci**rs. We will never forget his unique cowboy hats and boots as they were as much a part of who he was. His friendship, kindness, and genuine character left a lasting impression on all of us, and his absence will be deeply felt.

We extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to the Pahira family, his many friends, and the Pennsylvania State Police as they grieve this tremendous loss. We are forever grateful for Mike's dedication, service, and sacrifice.

Rest easy, Pahira. Thank you for your friendship and for your service. You will always be remembered and dearly missed from all of us at Mark Hammers Towing.

We had a sweet surprise today!
