Job description
Position Summary:
The Business Development Representative is a senior-level sales executive who is responsible for selling the company’s broad range of IT outsourcing and consulting services. Services include MSP Services, Network/Server design installation and maintenance, Network Security and Monitoring, Desktop user support, Mobile and WiFi Solutions, Remote Worker guidance and support, HIPPA & PCI Compliance, SOC Audit Support and Disaster planning and recovery. The candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales and business development funnel, following up on leads that come into the company, working with existing clients to expand current relationships, manage and write proposal for new business services, coordinate with engineers and technicians to deploy solutions, and to represent DNS at corporate events.
Required Skills & Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT sales and business development, experience in IT consulting sales in the SMB sector
Education: Degree in a technical discipline preferred, not required
Desired Skills:
• Has experience in IT consulting sales including Managed Services
• Has the ability to Create, Customize, and Negotiate IT Contracts
• Versed in current security services including AnitVirus, Spam Filtering, Web Filtering & AI solutions
• Can evaluate clients' server needs, customize and quote servers
• Understands Firewall and Routing needs in order to quote hardware and services
• Understands and can quote email options including 365 to Exchange server
• Familiar with HIPPA, PCI, and SOC Audit requirements
• Is familiar with Microsoft server software
• Knowledge of desktop & laptop hardware and software
• General networking knowledge including network cabling and wireless installation and options.
• Is self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and autonomously with minimal management direction
• Has strong ethics and personal integrity
• Has superb and professional written and oral communications skills essential for presentations and negotiations, and possess meticulous attention to detail
• Has the ability to develop relationships at every level to get to the decision-maker
• Has a proven ability to listen, extrapolate information, and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to customer needs.
• Has an understanding of product launch fundamentals and proactive driving sales programs.

• Own transport with a good driving record and auto insurance
• Strong technical aptitude.

• Able to pass a background check.
Compensation: Combination of Base Pay and Incentive-Based Commissions; commensurate with experience
