Support kidney stone risk assessment with Diazyme’s Oxalate Enzymatic Assay 🧪🧬

Oxalate is a common component in urine originating from liver metabolism and dietary sources. The formation of calcium oxalate salts in the urinary tract is a key factor in urolithiasis, and urine oxalate testing provides valuable information related to hyperoxaluria and stone formation risk.

Diazyme’s Oxalate Enzymatic Assay is a cost effective, reliable method for the quantitative determination of oxalate in human 24 hour urine samples. Utilizing industry standard enzymatic chemistry with oxalate oxidase and colorimetric detection at 550 nm, the assay delivers high analytical sensitivity and robust performance for routine clinical use.

Key advantages include:
• Enzymatic assay for accurate determination of oxalate in urine samples
• Wide analytic measuring range: 0.011–4.0 mmol/L (0.099–36.0 mg/dL)
• Liquid stable, ready to use reagents; calibrator and controls offered separately for added convenience
• Demonstrated precision with total CV typically ≤6.6%

Regulatory status: 510(k) Exempt.
For in vitro diagnostic use.

Confidently support multiple myeloma testing with Diazyme’s Human Kappa (κ) and Lambda (λ) Free Light Chain (KLFLC) assays 🧬🔬

Diazyme’s KLFLC assays provide accurate and reliable measurement of free light chains in human serum, correlating well with current methods and supporting the diagnosis and monitoring of multiple myeloma in conjunction with other laboratory findings.

Key advantages include:
• Excellent precision and a large dynamic measuring range
• Liquid stable format with no reagent preparation, helping reduce sample handling
• No sample pre dilution required, with reduced manual dilutions and retesting
• Fast test results (approximately 10 minutes) for rapid turnaround time

510(k) Cleared; Health Canada Registered.

Looking Beyond Traditional Lipid Testing

Cardiovascular risk assessment goes beyond LDL cholesterol alone. Complementary biomarkers can provide additional insights into lipid burden, oxidative stress, inherited risk, and vascular inflammation.
In this carousel, we highlight four important cardiovascular biomarkers:

LDL-C – Measures LDL cholesterol, a foundational marker of lipid assessment.

OxLDL – Reflects oxidative modification of LDL associated with oxidative stress.

Lp(a) – A genetically determined lipoprotein associated with increased cardiovascular risk.

PLAC® (Lp-PLA₂ Activity) – Measures Lp-PLA₂ activity associated with vascular inflammation.

Together, these biomarkers provide a more comprehensive view of cardiovascular risk than traditional lipid testing alone.

Advancing Cardiovascular Insight with Diazyme’s Advanced Lipid Profiling 🫀🔬

Cardiovascular disease remains a significant global health challenge, and standard cholesterol testing alone may not fully reflect an individual’s true risk. Diazyme’s cardiovascular markers portfolio is designed to provide a more complete view of cardiovascular health by assessing lipoproteins, oxidative changes, and vascular inflammation.

By incorporating advanced lipid and vascular biomarkers, Diazyme’s assays help:
• Characterize atherogenic lipoproteins beyond routine LDL and HDL
• Evaluate oxidative modification of lipids linked to plaque development
• Assess vascular inflammation and plaque activity associated with cardiovascular events
• Identify residual cardiovascular risk that may persist despite controlled traditional lipids

Designed for use on automated chemistry analyzers, Diazyme’s cardiovascular markers integrate smoothly into existing laboratory workflows, supporting high-throughput, reliable testing for both clinical and research applications.
