Pasture 4 horses got last year's fly sheets. The flies have been plentiful and ohhh so ornery this year as our wetter and cooler than usual spring continues!

Baked oatmeal cookies and took them out to see who wanted one because I felt so bad about how cold it has been today. Only 2 turned up their noses! So, sleet, snow and miserable weather is no match for our ponies - cozy blankets, 3 feedings of extra alfalfa hay and tonite, special cookies all round!

If you own one of the horses we bred or formerly owned, send us a message and let us know how they're doing. They are thought about often and losing track if them is sad. Every single one was registered so you'd be able to track them back to us for a reason. They are always welcome back here to retire when that day comes!

Carrots and alfalfa hay at breakfast, candy canes in night buckets and the best grass hay money can buy free choice. Our retirees have all been wished Merry Christmas. I wish it was the same for all older horses, past their prime and maybe down on their luck.

🥕🐴🐴🥕🥕🐴🐴🥕🥕🐴🐴🥕🥕 6 bags of organic carrots went out to the horses this morning so Christmas chores took a little longer than usual. Brrrr it’s cold - time to add some Baileys to my coffee!

We have been made aware of a retirement facility near Houston that is closing its doors. It is currently home to 12 wonderful retirees.

We are at capacity and unable to accept new clients, so if anyone knows of a great facility can you pm their contact info so I can pass it on? I can only imagine the growing panic of these horse owners.
