This is why I got into Scrapbooking. Talking to family members, taking notes......it's something most people won't do and are SO sorry for later on when they're gone. That's when we want to know all about them and it's too late. Saving those old photos and tintypes is a great start and those little blurbs and journaling boxes tell descendants about ancestors.

Anybody thinking early for Christmas cards or family scrapbooks for gifts this year? I know it's soon going to be school clothes and backpacks, but when that's all done, think of those old family photos collecting dust in the attic or garage.....yikes! They'll be ruined soon.

Get them to me and I can turn them into scrapbooks where they are safe with acid free sheet protectors and papers. If they're too big, I can scan them and use the copy. If you have your Mom's hankie or scarf, maybe a necklace to scan.... I can use them, too.

Don't wait too long, as it takes a lot of time to get them done.

I am selling a few items from my collection.....good grief, there's just no room for it if my husband is ever have room to keep our books straight! First is an expandable 12 x 12 paper carrier. $8.00. It will also hold files, stickers, a lot of things. More to come.

My granddaughters are into cooking and baking. This is a totally digital page, done online at Michaels.com. They have a nice scrapbook program and it's free.
