Passing along!

PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE BISON! Refuge staff recently became aware of hay bales dumped in the wildlife enclosure along the auto tour road. The bison and elk support themselves with the plants and creek in their enclosure and salt lick provided by staff. They do not need snacks or waste.

What a great day for FDMLL!

Today was our first in-person registration day for the 2026 baseball season, and it went fantastic! We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who came out to register and support Fort Des Moines Little League.

A special shoutout to A TEAM Apparel for making and generously donating our “Stronger Than the Fire” shirts to our Board, your support truly means the world to us.

Thank you as well to our Board Members who took time out of their day to help our community get registered and ready for the season ahead.
