FAQ: Is your facility licensed and what ages are you licensed to service? Adventureland Kids is licensed through the state of Louisiana, including the State Fire Marshal,Department of Health & Hospitals and Louisiana Department of Education. We are licensed for Child Care and Day Care for ages 6 weeks through 13 years. What schools does Adventureland Kids service? Oak Grove, Prairieville Primary, Dutchtown Primary, Duplessis Primary, Spanish Lake Primary, Central Primary/Middle, Galvez Primary and Carver Primary What is required for enrollment? Updated immunization records (we require children to be immunized), payment of fees, signed and completed registration packet, mat/towel/travel pillow (when required). Does my child have to be potty trained to enter the program? Any child enrolled in our 3 year old program and above must be completely potty trained. Do you have an open door policy? Tours and business can be conducted anytime during normal business hours but prolonged stays by anyone who is not a staff member is not allowed for the safety and privacy of the children and to prevent disruption of the program. Are your staff members trained and background checked? All staff members must have a state background check and information revealed through a state central registry before being employed by Adventureland Kids. All employees are trained and take continuing education classes as well as CPR and Health & Safety.
