Today, we are mourning the loss of our Founder and our Friend, Bill Moncrief. We ask for prayers for his family - especially his wife, Josie, and their sons’ families, during this difficult time.

Bill was the best of men, and has left a large and lasting legacy of kindness, love, and friendliness for all who were blessed to know him!

BBS always enjoys supporting the work of the Prattville YMCA - in part by helping to sponsor the Kevin Turner Golf Benefit that serves as a fundraiser to bolster the efforts of the Coach A Child campaign. This year was a little sweeter, though! One of our teammates welcomed his first child into the world just a few days prior to the tournament, so we gave him a Hall Pass this year. The other three of us enjoyed a beautiful day (though we could've done without the nuisances of the love bugs and termite swarmers in the latter half of the morning flight), and enjoyed a good round of golf. We got to meet Alex McPherson and spoke briefly with him about his progress toward returning to top form and the changes that have taken place on the Plains during his time there, while he played a Par 3 with us. And... To top it all off, we somehow WON the morning flight of the tournament on the Legislator Course!

The BBS family prays that all of you have had a wonderful holiday season, so far: enjoying Trick-or-Treating and candy binging with your littles during Halloween; gathering together with family and friends to count your blessings during Thanksgiving. And, we pray that you are gearing up for continued merriment as you plan to visit with loved ones to celebrate Christ's birth in a couple of weeks, and then ringing in a New Year a week later.

Bookkeeping is in the name, but we can help with *all* your Business Administration and back office support!
