Whether you want quartzite, granite, marble, or quartz the GKC will help you. Our company, Granite Kitchen Concepts, recently moved from Phoenix to Prescott. The owner, Arsen Torosian and his wife Meri, made the decision to move to Prescott because of their having a young family, a five year old daughter and a little boy aged two years. Because of their not wanting to raise their family in the Pho
enix area they did a lot of research searching for better places to live. It was decided that Prescott offered it all; beautiful pristine weather, a small hometown atmosphere with friendly people, and great schools for the kids. Based on all the positives that Prescott offered for a young family, Arsen sold his very well established granite fabrication company, "Granite Square" in Phoenix, that he successfully operated for over ten years, and he moved his entire family to Prescott and established Granite Kitchen Concepts located at 303 No. Summit Ave, the northwest corner of Summit and Sheldon. GKC is relatively new to Prescott but by no means is Arsen new to the granite industry. He has established his successful business record based on his uncompromising demand for perfection in craftsmanship, and the epitome of fair and honest business principles that highlight dependability and customer service that is second to none in the granite industry. GKC has over $200,000 worth of heavy duty granite fabrication machines that are fully paid for, and that is what makes it possible for Arsen to meet the most demanding construction schedules that his valued customers might require of him. You might say that Arsen and I, Jim Hollenbeck, have a pseudo father and son relationship and we have been working together for several years. Presently my role with the company is job estimating, sales management and helping in any other ways that I can, to help relieve him from the stress that is inherent with owning a large company as a sole proprietor. I am very proud of Arsen, especially in light of the fact that he is only 30 years old and has already accomplished more business success at his young age than many ever accomplish in a life time. He came to the U.S. from Armenia when he was 13 years old, not speaking English and was ostensibly to be cared for by his older brother who was already here. His father's plan was to follow him to the U.S. but he unfortunately died prior to his being able to solve the years of formidable demands placed before him by U.S. immigration laws. It's truly inspiring to see a young man who started with no more than a shoestring, like Arsen did, and to watch him climb the ladder one step at a time in pursuit of his dreams. There is so much more that he wants to accomplish and his dreams for the future will never dim because of his insatiable appetite for knowledge and his burning desire "to build a better mouse trap" and to expand his scope of involvement in so many different facets of life in general
