Heavy Equipment Mechanics
Vacuum Truck Class B Driver/Operators
Locations: Hamden, ME, Windsor, ME and Presque Isle, ME
-Vacuum Truck Driver/Operator
-Hiring all locations, Full time, Year round
This job entails operating different types of vacuum and jet trucks in a safe and efficient manner while completing a wide variety of jobs including but not limited to: vacuuming out catch basins, hydro excavation, culvert cleaning, sewer main jet washing and camera inspection, sewer plant work, mill and plant work and residential sewer line cleaning and replacement. This individual will need to have a class B license and experience operating a vacuum truck would be a plus. Job requires an individual that is a quick learner and likes to work in a fast pace environment with a positive attitude.

Presque Isle Full time
Hamden or Windsor part time (work schedule is flexible for this position)
We have a fleet of 15 vacuum trucks on the road at all times as well as other equipment that we run on a daily bases that need to be serviced and maintained along with truck rebuild projects. Most of our trucks are Vactor 2100s with fan and positive displacement vacuum systems and vacuum tanker trucks with vane pumps.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including trucks, and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct inspections and perform necessary repairs on Heavy trucks and equipment.
- Perform electrical repairs as needed.
- Assemble and disassemble parts of truck for repair or replacement.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
Requirements:
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other industrial equipment safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
