Truly a once in a lifetime estate sale this weekend! I appreciate the kind words and the knowledge Mr. Neal imparted to me and my team while he visited after buying a number of items this weekend! We truly wanted to the history associated with these pieces and I don't think a better group could have bought them!

After decades of being in a private collection, the original Charles Ward builders plate of the J.S. LEWIS (built as the VESTA in 1931) was officially reunited aboard its original home today. This item was listed in an estate sale in Proctorville, OH occurring this weekend, and Rick Neale camped overnight at the sale to make sure he was first in line when the sale opened up Friday morning. We would like to thank Elm Grove Auction Associates for advertising this sale, and for their assistance so we could rest assured that this piece was restored back to its rightful home!
