"We are humbled to share with you that your donations helped 500 families stay afloat at least for a day.
We expected to help ~150 with our current donation total but thanks to our family and friends in the community, we were able to help more than 3x that number. Thank you all for your generosity and kindness.
We cannot overstate how big of a deal this is --- for moms and dads who lost their jobs during a pandemic, for kids who are forced to worry about safety and basic needs over their education, for seniors who spent their life savings to build a house only to get knocked down overnight.
Through your donation, you not only provided a day's worth of meals to these families; you gave them hope.
Our family and our entire community in Bicol, Philippines are truly grateful.
