Hi everybody!!! I've missed interacting in this space as I've been on hiatus while we sold our home and moved into a new one. We've been busy with lots of home projects, decorating, summer trips, and adjusting to mowing multiple acres, haha! This morning I'm heading to see this family again, as this sweet little one is now a big sister! I can't wait to snuggle sweet baby James and make some photo magic!
I'm also spending time dreaming about my new space out here and some holiday mini sessions-- I'll keep you posted!

Sometimes the posed family portrait is just too good not to post. This crew has been my clients since I photographed mom and dad's wedding (in 2011, is that right, guys?!) !! What a gift to have such longstanding clients! And when you get all three boys looking like precious angels, you do a little happy dance and pat yourself on the back. Too bad our buddy Jude had that broken arm this year!! Cress family, I just love you guys!!

These pics make me sing "Greeen acres is the place for me... faaaarm livin' is the life for me!" Did anybody else's dad sing the Green Acres theme song to them all the time?!

So this special family moved their life (and their cattle!)across the country from Vermont to Kentucky not too long ago, and I was so thrilled to be able to capture their fam on their new stomping grounds. Farm life has a serious part of my heart.

My great grandparents lived on a farm and I grew up playing in the hayloft, watching the cows, and running around on all. that. open. space. before running inside to get a slice of Grandma Carsons chocolate pie! The farm holds such special memories for me, and I loved seeing these kids open the gates to the fields so we could drive through, explore in the woods, and tend to all the farm animals.
