Meet Frank! Frank is a π Carpenter Ant. Hereβs what you need to knowβ¦
Carpenter ants donβt eat wood like termites β but they do tunnel through it to build their nests. Over time, this can weaken walls, decks, window frames, and other wooden structures around your home.
Common signs to watch for:
β
Large black or red ants indoors
β
Sawdust-like material (called frass) near walls or baseboards
β
Rustling sounds inside walls at night
β
Ant activity around moisture-damaged wood
Carpenter ants are often a sign of excess moisture, so fixing leaks and addressing the infestation early can save you from costly repairs later.
