What a lunch! 🎶

Our fourth Lunch & Learn, The Business of Creativity, brought musical talents and business owners Matt Boerum and Jim Eno to SEG for an honest conversation about building a creative career that lasts.

A room full of Scale Lab founders and community members came ready with questions, and Matt and Jim delivered. They shared stories, lessons learned the hard way, and real advice for anyone turning their talent into a business. Our favorite part: hearing that after traveling all over the country, Rhode Island is still where they want to grow, make a difference in their community, and share what they do best. đź’š

Four rounds in, and this partnership just keeps getting better. 🎉

Last night we celebrated the Collette x SEG Marketing Growth Lab, our partnership program with the amazing team at Collette Travel. Four SEG alumni took the stage to pitch their businesses to Collette's marketing team:

💛 This , we’re taking you inside Crece con Propósito, our Fall 2026 Spanish-language program!

This cohort is bringing entrepreneurs together to build their skills, strengthen their ventures, and learn alongside a community of fellow business owners, all in Spanish.

We’re excited to have two cohorts running this fall: one in Providence at SEG and one in East Providence at City Hall. The East Providence cohort even got a visit from Bob DaSilva, East Providence Mayor! Thanks, Mayor DaSilva, for stopping by and connecting with our entrepreneurs.
