MCP Propane is looking for a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver / Service Technician to join our Wagoner team.
This is a full-time position involving propane delivery to residential and commercial customers, propane tank and regulator installation, safety checks, equipment maintenance, customer service, and other field-service duties.

Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Class A or B CDL with tanker, hazmat, and air-brake endorsements preferred
We are willing to help qualified candidates obtain required endorsements.
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
• Propane knowledge and driving experience are preferred

**CDL Driver / Service Tech at MCP Propane**

MCP Propane is currently seeking an experienced CDL driver to join our team. This role involves propane delivery to homes and businesses, as well as various service technician tasks. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit our Pryor office to pick up an application. Please see below for more details regarding job responsibilities and benefits.
**Basic Job Functions:**
- Provide service and customer support during field assessments.
- Perform on-site installation of tanks and regulators.
- Conduct gas checks at the time of tank installation or when there is an interruption of service to ensure proper operations.
- Deliver safety information to customers with clear explanations.
- Perform general maintenance on equipment and propane lines.
- Operate vehicles and cranes safely.
- Conduct Out of Gas Safety Checks.
- Assist with inventory control and restocking.
- Complete any additional job duties as assigned.
- Seasonal responsibilities include filling customer tanks by dragging hoses from the truck to the tank at residential and commercial locations.
- Accurately fill out daily paperwork to be submitted to the Customer Service Representative (CSR) each day.
- Maintain equipment daily by ensuring cleanliness and that all safety supplies are stocked.
- Ability to operate in adverse weather conditions.
- Adhere to all ODOT rules and regulations.
- Read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals, and reports as needed.
- Demonstrate cooperative, team-oriented behavior consistently.
- Maintain a safety-conscious attitude and understand safe work practices for field operations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from the manager.
**Licenses or Certifications:**
- Valid driver’s license.
- Class A or B CDL with tanker, hazmat, and air brake endorsements required (the company is willing to assist candidates with obtaining endorsements).
- Pre-employment and random drug testing are required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of propane.
- Preferred: 1+ year of driving experience.

We are proud to report that as of this past Friday, every single delivery call—except for a handful that had called in late Friday afternoon—has been delivered, thanks to the outstanding efforts of our amazing employees.

Starting tomorrow, given the conditions, we kindly ask all customers who will be calling in for a delivery to please help us by clearing their driveways, making a visible path with tire tracks, clearing driveway culvert pipe ends, or at the very least, please create a trail with foot traffic to show where the driveways and driveway culvert pipe ends are.
