When a wind power generation company approached Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (WFEC) to tie into their system, WFEC faced an immediate challenge: the nearest substation was already at capacity. To meet a tight timeline and maintain their protection and safety standards, WFEC turned to SEL to engineer and manage the construction of a new switching station.
