This weekend Angel Farr completed her marathon for St. Jude's and raised $4,370! Thank you so much to everyone who donated and shared, she couldn't have done it without you! At Farr Construction Group, "constructs with ethics" applies to more than just our business practices, but also to the way we want to give back to causes and communities we care about. As the holiday season approaches, we will be continuing this work outside of the office and helping those in need this winter.

This is the last day to donate to Angel's marathon fundraiser for St. Jude's! After training for six years, Angel has been working up to tomorrow for a long time. St. Jude's dedication to ending childhood cancer for all children around the world is motivating Angel to cross that finish line! Help us reach her goal of $3,500 by tomorrow!

We are so excited to talk about Angel's half marathon to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital happening on December 5th. She has been training for years now and has pledged to raise $1,500. She is almost at her goal! After losing many jobs during the pandemic, the construction industry added 84,000 jobs in October, recovering 73% of the workforce. 60,000 of those jobs were in nonresidential construction. Every industry is being affected by COVID-19, but this is a promising sign of our industry recovering. We remain optimistic yet cautious as we navigate projects in this climate.

COVID-19 disrupted plans in the DC area for new hospital construction projects. Hospital administrations face an uphill battle as the need for hospital facilities and resources has never been more critical because of the pandemic. Construction in most major hospital systems is slowly getting back on track to serve their communities. We are excited to be a part of these improvements in the DC area.
