Availability coming soon for partial or full training board at Maplehurst Stables conveniently located between Purcellville and Middleburg, Virginia. We are a small 10 acre, professional facility with a variety of pastures/paddocks with access to shade and/or run-ins as well as a small layup paddock. Safe, four-board fencing. Small turnout numbers with 2-3 horses/field. Private turnout available upon request.

Owner/trainer, Chelsea Spiegel, has her USDF bronze medal and is working towards her silver with her 7-year-old oldenburg gelding. While specializing in dressage and foundation building on the flat, she also has a background in eventing and enjoys adding elements of cross training with the horses and students in her program. Young or green horses welcome in addition to your steady eddies that need conditioning or tuning up.

Beautiful center aisle Amish barn with rubber paver aisle, six matted 12x12 and 12x15 stalls with Dutch doors and windows, hot/cold wash rack with heating lamp. Climate controlled tack room with central air and heating. Lounge with kitchen and bathroom. Each boarder has their own personal tack cubby. Barn washer/dryer. Plenty of outdoor lighting as well as secure, smart locking system. Come and enjoy the benefits of a small, quiet professional facility with adult clientele.

Hooves are picked and horses are given a quick once over grooming each day when they come into their stalls! Owner provided fly spray, medications, and supplements and ministered at no extra cost. Blanket changes as well as scheduling and handling for vet and farrier are also included. Each horse has an individualized feeding program to optimize nutrition, health, and performance. There is hay in front of the horses at all times when they're in their stalls and square bale hay is given in the fields during the winter months. Night time turn out during the warm months and daytime turnout during the cold months.

We have a wonderfully draining 100'x200' outdoor arena with all-weather rubber and sand footing. The arena also has great lighting for those night time rides.

3-4 dry stalls available at a lovely, quiet, boutique facility in Purcellville, Virginia. The stalls are all 12'x12' with exception of one 12'x15' stall. Price is $400/stall. No additional utility fees. Hay storage, manure removal, and Farm/Arena maintenance is included. High speed internet is also provided. Care options available for an additional cost.

Farm owner and barn tenant live on site. Potential trade-off for barn shifts.

Beautiful, Amish built center aisle barn with many windows and Dutch doors, rubber aisle, wash rack, climate controlled tack room with lounge, full bathroom, tack cubbies for equipment, washer/dryer, and a 100'x200' all weather sand and rubber arena with lights, jumps, and arena letters.

2-4 pastures are available for use depending on need along with additional smaller holding / layup paddocks and run-in sheds. Four board fencing and many of the fields also have automatic waters.

There is also the potential to use the barn owner's horses for appropriate lessons.

2004 Registered Hanoverian gelding.

Han./TB by Winterlight (Weltmeyer x Prince Thatch). Well built, straight, solid legs and 16.1 hands. Nice mover. Comfortable ride. Great all arounder. Loves to jump and trail ride. Good with cars down the road or in the field. Does not mind hacking out alone.

Suited for hunters or low-level jumpers/eventing. Solid 2'6" citizen. Perfect for an adult amateur or teen looking to really enjoy their horse or a good family horse. Super honest and fun jumper. Takes you to the fence forward without rushing. Nicely forward mount. Balanced and consistent. Lunges well.

Super lovable with great ground manners. Maintained on Equioxx for stiffness/arthritis but he has never been unsound. Great hind end. Can be stiff in the neck. Does not love a dressage frame so he would be most suited for Training Level dressage with a longer and slightly nose out frame. Good feet. Not a complex ride but does prefer a more quiet rider with a good seat. Easy to have in the barn and gets along well with others in the field. A great anchor for younger horses. Easy keeper. Higher four figures- 8+
