This Saturday is our final market of the year, and our last regularly scheduled event as well. Due to overwhelming demand we are in short supply for many of our seasonings. But I’ll bring everything I can make with me to Waco. Plus we are running a BOGO Free special on the Kimchi and all of our shirts are $10 each while supplies last.

Just a little update to everyone

We will be winding down our full time market schedule and transitioning to other ventures in the next few weeks. When I started this journey years ago I didn’t realize how many people would love our healthy approach and our delicious products. We have had a blast as Food, Fire, Family but everything has a purpose and eventually sees that purpose come to an end. We will be posting updates on where and when to find us as we close out this year. Thanks again for all your support over the years…. Maybe we will see you again with something new.

Unfortunately the sun seems to be winning again, and I don’t want to end up in the hospital for another couple of days. That being said…

I won’t be able to make it to tomorrow for the farmers market. Audrey will be at if you’re low on any seasonings, baked goods or eggs. Sorry for the late notice everyone.

Well it’s certainly been an eventful couple of weeks. In the wee morning hours on Friday the 31st we got hit hard. Straight line winds over 70mph, and what we can safely assume as a small tornado due to the twisted trees in the pasture. We lost a few animals, lots of trees (including this 30 foot tall redbud) and some structures are a total loss. The whitish pile against the building WAS our greenhouse, it took out a fence and finally came to rest about 50 yards from its former location. I fired up the chainsaw at 5:30 that morning and cleared over 12 trees and countless branches off the 4 miles of roads leading to us. But the show went on and the Auction finished up without a hitch. Now to get back to our regularly scheduled programming, along with plenty of clean up…..

Unfortunately we have just found out that the Memorial Day market has been canceled. I’ll be reaching out to everyone that preordered later on this evening. I will try to make arrangements for deliveries during the week, before our Auction this coming weekend. Our next scheduled market day is June 8th.
