This delicious sweet red showcases the rich velvet cream flavors of the Ives grape. Due to the limited harvest from year to year of the Ives grape, this wine is only available for a limited time. If you love sweet red wines, this might be your new favorite!!

Currently, the lake is frozen and ice fishing is in full swing! In a couple short months, the 2025 summer season at Put-in-Bay will begin to kick off as the establishments on the island open for another summer season! How does living on an island sound?

Heineman Winery and Crystal Cave is hiring for the 2025 season! We are seeking bartenders -- who will also be required to give tours of Crystal Cave (the world's largest celestite geode) and Heineman's wine cellar on a rotating schedule throughout the day. We are seeking dedicated tour guides only, as well. Part time and full time positions are available, along with housing options as well.

At one time in the early 1900s before Prohibition, at least 17 wineries dotted Put-in-Bay, South Bass Island. Heineman Winery is proudly crowned as the last remaining original island winery of that time. Established by Gustav Heineman in 1888, Heineman's is 5 generations strong in 2025.
