As a reminder 1099s are due by January 31st. Generally a 1099 is required if you made payments to non-corporations in the amount of $600 or more (exemptions apply).

Penalties are:
$50/1099 if filed within 30 days of due date.
$100/1099 if filed after 30 days but before August 1st.
